BYLAWS, POLICIES & PROCEDURES

The mission of the Arkansas Innkeepers Association is to promote our hospitality to the public utilizing education, communication and legislative support, thereby providing the highest standards in the tourism industry.

The Association also promotes the highest standards of cleanliness, courtesy, comfort and ethics for its members and seeks to promote those high standards throughout Arkansas.

It will be the responsibility of the officers of the Association to inform the membership of the developments, expenditures and future plans of the Association.  The current officers of the Association shall be responsible for the conduct, direction and management of the affairs of the Association business.

Each member's accommodations must be clean, neat, distinctive and well maintained.  Each member must agree to represent their business completely and honestly in a forthright and courteous manner in all advertising.  Establishments must be run in an ethical and professional manner, particularly with regard to pricing.  The Arkansas Innkeepers Association will consider it in bad taste for a member to misrepresent their facilities or to charge more than their highest published rates.
